Role Overview We are seeking a dynamic and result-driven Operation Head – FTL Transportation who will be responsible for end-to-end FTL transportation operations across PAN India , with a strong focus on FTL operations . The role includes ownership of vehicle placement, billing timelines, POD closure, and loading operations .

Key Responsibilities 1. PAN India FTL Operations

- Lead complete FTL transportation operations across PAN India
- Ensure on-time vehicle placement, dispatch, and delivery (OTIF)
- Drive cost optimization and service excellence

2. Vehicle Placement & Vendor Management

- Ensure efficient vehicle placement planning as per demand
- Build and manage a strong transporter/vendor network
- Handle vendor onboarding, rate negotiation, and performance tracking

3. Billing & POD Control (Critical KPI Area)

- Ensure on-time billing as per agreed timelines
- Drive timely POD collection, submission, and closure
- Minimize billing delays due to POD gaps or discrepancies
- Coordinate closely with billing and finance teams to improve cash flow

4. Loading Operations Management

- Oversee loading supervisor teams across locations
- Ensure proper vehicle loading, space utilization, and dispatch planning
- Monitor loading TAT, damage control, and shortage prevention

5. Team Building & Leadership

- Build and lead Traffic, POD, Billing coordination, and Loading teams
- Drive accountability, discipline, and performance culture

Ensure proper manpower planning and team productivity . 6.



SOP Implementation & Process Excellence

- Implement and standardize SOPs across all locations
- Define and monitor KPIs , including:
- OTIF (On-Time In-Full)
- Billing TAT
- POD Submission TAT
- Deliver improvements in:
- Delivery timelines
- Reduced shortages/damages
- Higher client satisfaction

7. Compliance & Risk Management

- Ensure adherence to transport compliance and statutory norms
- Control operational leakages and risks
- Maintain audit-ready processes and documentation

8. Client & Stakeholder Management

- Act as SPOC for key clients and escalations
- Coordinate with Sales, Warehouse, Finance, and Billing teams

Ensure high service levels and client retention. 9. MIS & Strategic Reporting

- Review daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports
- Track collection impact due to billing/POD delays
- Provide insights for cost control and operational improvement

Key Requirements

- Graduate / Postgraduate (Logistics / Supply Chain preferred)
- 10–15 years of experience in transportation/logistics
- Strong experience in FTL operations + billing/POD cycle control
- Proven track record in team handling and multi-location operations
