Qualification

- B.Sc. Nursing (Mandatory)
- M.Sc. Nursing (Preferred)
- Valid State Nursing Council Registration
- 7–10 years of nursing experience, with at least 3–5 years in a supervisory or leadership role
- Experience in NABH-accredited hospitals preferred

Job SummaryThe Nursing Superintendent is responsible for the overall management of nursing services, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care. The role oversees nursing operations, staffing, training, quality initiatives, and compliance with NABH standards and hospital policies.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee day-to-day nursing operations across all departments.
- Ensure high standards of patient care and nursing practices.
- Plan nursing manpower, duty rosters, and resource allocation.
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff.
- Ensure compliance with NABH standards, infection control protocols, and statutory regulations.
- Lead nursing orientation, training,



and competency development programs.
- Monitor nursing quality indicators and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with consultants, department heads, and allied healthcare teams for seamless patient care.
- Address patient concerns related to nursing services and support grievance resolution.
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation and ensure adherence to hospital policies.
