Role Description The Sales Manager role at Tata Capital is a full-time, on-site position based in Dindigul. The Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales of Tata Capital’s financial products within the local market, including identifying new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and meeting revenue and portfolio quality targets.



Daily activities include prospecting and onboarding new customers, explaining product features and benefits, performing basic credit assessments, and coordinating with internal teams for approvals and documentation. The role also involves guiding and motivating a small sales team or channel partners, tracking performance metrics, and preparing regular sales reports. The Sales Manager is expected to maintain high standards of compliance, customer service, and ethical conduct in all interactions.
Qualifications
Strong sales and business development skills, including lead generation, chance qualification, and relationship management.
Working knowledge of retail and SME financial products such as loans, housing finance, and consumer finance, with the ability to explain offerings clearly to customers.
Proficiency in basic financial analysis and documentation review to support credit evaluation and compliant onboarding.
