About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Senior PHP / CMS Developer with strong hands-on experience in PHP-based web application development and Content Management Systems (CMS).

Craft CMS experience is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates with strong experience in other PHP-based CMS platforms such as Drupal, WordPress, Joomla, TYPO3, Magento/Adobe Commerce, Pimcore, or similar CMS platforms are encouraged to apply.

The ideal candidate should have strong PHP fundamentals, experience developing and customizing CMS-driven applications, and the ability to work independently on complex web projects.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, customize, and maintain PHP-based web applications and CMS platforms.
- Work on CMS architecture, custom modules/plugins, themes, templates, and integrations.
- Develop and integrate REST APIs and third-party services.
- Customize CMS functionality based on business and technical requirements.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications.
- Develop clean, scalable, secure, and maintainable code.
- Work with databases and optimize queries and application performance.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, designers, and project managers.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and solution design.
- Perform website/application upgrades, migrations, and integrations where required.
- Ensure applications follow security, performance, and coding best practices.

Required Skills &

Qualifications :

- 7 years of professional experience in PHP development.




- Strong hands-on experience with any established PHP-based CMS.
- Experience with one or more of :
- Drupal
- WordPress
- Joomla
- Moodle
- Magento / Adobe Commerce
- Pimcore
- Craft CMS
- Other comparable CMS platforms
- Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL/MariaDB, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience developing custom modules, plugins, themes, templates, or CMS extensions.
- Robust understanding of MVC architecture and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Experience working with REST APIs and third-party integrations.
- Good understanding of Git/version control.
- Experience troubleshooting performance, security, and application-level issues.
- Ability to understand existing codebases and independently deliver enhancements.

Preferred Skills :

- Craft CMS experience is a strong plus.
- Experience with Laravel or Symfony.
- Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with CMS migration or version upgrades, such as Drupal 7 Drupal 10/11.
- Experience with headless CMS architecture.
- Experience working with international/US clients.
- Exposure to modern frontend frameworks such as Vue.js or React.js.

What We're Looking For :

We are looking for a developer who is strong in PHP and CMS development, rather than someone whose experience is limited specifically to Craft CMS.

Craft CMS is preferred, but candidates with strong hands-on experience in another PHP-based CMS will also be considered.

The key requirement is the ability to understand CMS architecture, customize and extend CMS platforms, build integrations, troubleshoot complex issues, and work confidently with PHP-based applications.
