Position Overview: - We are seeking a highly experienced Azure Infrastructure Presales Architect to lead infrastructure solution architecture for enterprise cloud transformation and data center migration initiatives. This individual will assess customer environments, define secure and scalable Azure target-state architectures, develop migration strategies, support sizing and cost estimation, and provide technical leadership through delivery and operational handover.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead Azure infrastructure presales engagements from discovery and assessment through solution design, proposal, and technical closure.
- Assess customers’ existing on-premises and data center infrastructure and identify opportunities for Azure migration and modernization.
- Design secure, scalable, highly available, and cost-optimized Azure infrastructure architectures.
- Define enterprise Azure target-state architecture, landing zones, governance standards, technical designs, and implementation roadmaps.
- Design Azure networking solutions covering Virtual Networks, subnets, NSGs, Azure Firewall, Application Gateway, Load Balancer, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, Private Link, Private Endpoints, and DNS.
- Design identity and access solutions using Microsoft Entra ID, hybrid identity, RBAC, Privileged Identity Management, managed identities, and Conditional Access.




- Architect Azure compute and storage solutions for Windows and Linux workloads, including Virtual Machines, VM Scale Sets, AKS, Azure Storage, Managed Disks, Azure Files, and Azure NetApp Files.
- Define monitoring, security, governance, backup, business continuity, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Develop data center migration strategies including discovery, dependency mapping, migration waves, rehost, replatform, refactor, cutover, validation, and decommissioning.
- Support infrastructure sizing, capacity planning, Azure consumption estimates, and cost modeling.
- Lead customer discovery workshops, infrastructure assessments, architecture reviews, technical presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts.
- Prepare architecture diagrams, technical proposals, Bills of Materials, Statements of Work, estimates, migration plans, and implementation roadmaps.
- Support RFP/RFI responses and collaborate with sales teams to develop technical win strategies.
- Provide technical leadership during infrastructure deployment, migration, security implementation, automation, testing, production cutover, and operational handover.
- Collaborate with networking, security, application, DevOps, project management, delivery, and operations teams throughout the engagement lifecycle.
- Mentor technical teams and promote reusable architecture assets,



automation standards, and Azure implementation best practices.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum 10–15+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud architecture, consulting, and enterprise technology delivery.
- Strong experience architecting and delivering Microsoft Azure infrastructure solutions.
- Proven experience leading or supporting Data Center Migration and on-premises-to-Azure migration programs.
- Deep understanding of Azure networking, identity, compute, storage, security, governance, monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery.
- Solid experience with hybrid cloud architecture and enterprise connectivity.
- Experience with Azure landing zones, governance, Azure Policy, Management Groups, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, and Key Vault.
- Experience with Azure Backup, Azure Site Recovery, high availability, business continuity, and RTO/RPO architecture.
- Experience with Azure Migrate and infrastructure discovery, assessment, dependency mapping, and migration planning.
- Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code and automation using Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, Azure CLI, or PowerShell.
- Experience with infrastructure sizing, capacity planning, effort estimation, Azure cost estimation, and solution pricing support.
- Excellent communication, consulting, leadership, stakeholder management, and client-facing presentation skills.
