Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Design Engineer role based in Pune.

The Mechanical Design

Engineer will design and develop components and assemblies for automotive fuel systems, ensuring functional performance, manufacturability, and compliance with industry standards. Daily responsibilities include creating and updating 3D models and engineering drawings, performing design calculations, and collaborating with manufacturing, procurement, and quality teams to refine designs. The role involves reviewing requirements, preparing technical documentation, supporting prototype builds and testing, and addressing design issues identified during validation or production. The engineer will participate in design reviews,



contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and help optimize cost, reliability, and safety of fuel system products.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Mechanical Engineering and Machine Design for automotive fuel systems.
- Candidates should possess skills in Design Engineering and Product Design, including concept development, detailed design of components and assemblies with application of GD&T; .
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools, such as Creo, SolidWorks, 3D modeling and drafting software ZW.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Mech. Engineering with a relevant design experience.
- Experience with tolerance analysis, materials selection, and manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, casting, injection molding) is beneficial.
- Familiarity with automotive standards, test methods, and quality tools (e.g., DFMEA, DFM/DFA) is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret engineering specifications and drawings are essential.
- Effective communication, teamwork, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in an on-site environment are required.
