About the Role
We are hiring a GDS Ticketing & Support Specialist specializing in the Canada-to-India travel corridor. In this role, you will handle high-volume flight bookings, perform Quality Control checks, optimize fares, and assist passengers with schedule changes and post-booking support during Canadian operational hours.
Key Responsibilities
GDS Issuance & QC: Issue international flight tickets using Galileo (primary) and Amadeus. Conduct thorough Quality Control (QC) on files before ticketing—verifying name formats, baggage limits, and fare rules.
Route & Transit Compliance: Verify transit visa requirements (e.g., UK, Schengen/European hub, or Middle East layovers) and entry rules specific to passengers traveling between Canada and India.
Fare Optimization:



Review itineraries prior to issuance to find cost efficiencies and better prices on popular Canada–India routes.
Post-Sale Servicing: Handle inbound support calls for ticket re-issuances, date changes, cancellations, refunds, and airline schedule changes.
Requirements
GDS Expertise: Proficiency in Galileo is required; experience with Amadeus is a plus.
Route Knowledge: Familiarity with major carriers, hub transfers, and transit visa policies on Canada–India routes.
Shift & Commute: Ability to work an early morning 2:00 AM IST shift, 6 days a week, with reliable personal transport to Phase 8, Mohali.
Skills: Excellent attention to detail for file QC and strong verbal communication for handling post-sale support calls.
