Qualification
B.Sc. Nursing (Mandatory)
M.Sc. Nursing (Preferred)
Valid State Nursing Council Registration
7–10 years of nursing experience, with at least 3–5 years in a supervisory or leadership role
Experience in NABH-accredited hospitals preferred
Job Summary
The Nursing Superintendent is responsible for the overall management of nursing services, ensuring the delivery of protected, high-quality, and patient-centered care. The role oversees nursing operations, staffing, training, quality initiatives, and compliance with NABH standards and hospital policies.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day nursing operations across all departments.
Ensure high standards of patient care and nursing practices.
Plan nursing manpower, duty rosters,



and resource allocation.
Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff.
Ensure compliance with NABH standards, infection control protocols, and statutory regulations.
Lead nursing orientation, training, and competency development programs.
Monitor nursing quality indicators and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Coordinate with consultants, department heads, and allied healthcare teams for seamless patient care.
Address patient concerns related to nursing services and support grievance resolution.
Maintain accurate nursing documentation and ensure adherence to hospital policies.
