Job Summary

This job requires overseeing machine learning program development, ensuring alignment with technological direction. It involves cross-functional collaboration, evaluating solutions, and leading research validation. The role sets team goals, tracks industry advancements, and promotes performance standards. It also entails strategic business consulting and project planning for efficient execution.

Responsibilities:

- Overseeing the development and implementation of machine learning programs that align with the company's technology and engineering roadmap
- Managing the design and implementation of end-to-end machine learning solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams and third-party partners
- Evaluating machine learning solutions from partners and vendors for strategic fit and potential integration into company products
- Leading the creation and management of case studies, testing protocols, and reporting to assess and validate machine learning applications
- Providing leadership and setting clear goals and performance criteria for the machine learning staff in accordance with departmental standards




- Directing research into new technology areas to keep the company at the forefront of machine learning innovation
- Keeping the team updated on industry tech advancements and overseeing the monitoring of APIs and other intellectual property
- Recruiting, building, and nurturing a high-performance machine learning team, fostering talent development and innovation
- Consulting with business, marketing, and product management units to provide insights on the latest technological trends and their impact
- Assisting leadership with forecasting project estimates, resource needs, and timelines for effective machine learning initiative planning and execution
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
