Savitur Legal Chambers is a litigation-focused law firm with a diversified practice spanning dispute resolution, advisory, and regulatory matters. The firm regularly advises and represents clients in cheque dishonour matters, matrimonial and family disputes, commercial litigation, consumer disputes, and arbitration proceedings.

Its practice extends to civil and property disputes, criminal defence, and debt recovery matters, with representation before courts and tribunals across jurisdictions.

In addition, the firm provides structured support in legal drafting and filings, appellate proceedings, will drafting, probate-related matters, power of attorney documentation, and marriage registration.

Role & Responsibilities

Selected interns will be expected to:

- Conduct research on statutory provisions, case law, and regulatory frameworks
- Assist in drafting applications, notices, replies, and written submissions
- Research and contribute to legal articles, insights, and explainers
- Participate in curated short-format legal communication initiatives, aimed at developing clarity and precision in articulating complex legal concepts

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should

- Be available for a Full-time internship at office




- Be able to commence between 25 August 2026 and 15 September 2026
- Be available for a minimum duration of one month
- Demonstrate relevant skills and a genuine interest in litigation practice

Additional Requirements

- Willingness to attend court hearings, where required
- Access to a personal laptop and familiarity with legal research tools and digital workflows
- Ability to work with discipline in a hybrid environment, including remote assignments
- Familiarity with professional platforms such as LinkedIn and Instagram, with an appreciation for structured legal communication
- Strong sense of responsibility towards confidentiality and accuracy

Additional Information

Perks: This is a learning-oriented, non-stipend internship. A certificate will be awarded upon successful completion.

Interns who successfully complete the internship and demonstrate exceptional performance, professionalism, and commitment may be invited back by the Firm for an Assessment Internship, which may be considered for future long-term opportunities with the Firm.

Such invitations shall be entirely at the discretion of the Firm and will be based on the intern's overall performance and the Firm's requirements at the relevant time.
