Role Purpose To support the establishment and scale-up of the Industrial Paints business by developing market intelligence, designing the go-to-market strategy, creating the sales organization blueprint, enabling cross-functional readiness, and driving initial business development efforts. The role will act as the anchor for setting up the Industrial Paints vertical and ensuring successful pilot launch and scale-up.

Key Responsibilities

Market Intelligence & Business Planning

- Conduct market assessment to identify prospect size across industrial paint categories, customer segments, industries, and geographies.
- Build a deep understanding of market dynamics, competitor strategies, pricing landscapes, channel structures, and customer requirements.
- Develop business potential estimates and prioritize target segments and geographies.
- Provide recommendations on market-entry priorities and growth opportunities.

Go-to-Market Strategy

- Develop and execute the go-to-market plan for pilot launch and subsequent scale-up.
- Define customer acquisition strategy, coverage models, and account targeting approach.
- Identify key industry segments and strategic customers for business development efforts.




- Track pilot outcomes and recommend corrective actions and expansion plans.
- Ensure readiness of operational processes to support market expansion.
- Coordinate key initiatives required for successful launch and scale-up of the vertical.

Organization Design & Capability Build

- Design the proposed sales structure for the Industrial Paints vertical.
- Define roles, responsibilities, span of control, and reporting structures.
- Develop job descriptions and competency requirements for sales and technical roles.

Business Development

- Build relationships with potential customers, OEMs, fabricators, industrial units, consultants, and key market stakeholders.
- Support acquisition of anchor customers during the pilot phase.
- Help establish a strong pipeline of opportunities for business growth.

Influencer & Ecosystem Development

- Develop an influencer engagement strategy where relevant.
- Build relationships with consultants, project influencers, EPC contractors, industry bodies, and specifiers.
- Drive awareness and preference for Industrial Paint solutions within target sectors.
