Hiring: Open Shift Support Engineer
Location: Noida (Onsite)
Shift: 24x7 Rotational Shifts
Experience: 2–3 Years
We are looking for an Open Shift Support Engineer (L1) to provide first-line support for a production Red Hat Open Shift platform. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Open Shift/Kubernetes environments, Linux administration, and incident management.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor Open Shift cluster, node, and pod health
Respond to alerts, incidents, and service requests within SLA
Troubleshoot pod and workload issues (Crash Loop Back Off, Pending, Image Pull Back Off, Evicted, etc.)
Perform routine platform operations using oc/kubectl and Open Shift Console
Manage namespaces, resource quotas, RBAC requests, and storage monitoring
Support application teams with deployments and access requests
Maintain runbooks, shift handovers,



and knowledge base documentation
Required Skills:
2–3 years of Open Shift or Kubernetes support experience
Robust understanding of Pods, Deployments, Services, Routes, Config Maps, Secrets, and PVCs
Hands-on experience with oc and kubectl commands
Linux Administration (RHEL/Cent OS)
Basic Networking (DNS, TCP/IP, Load Balancing, Ingress/Routing)
Experience with Service Now, Jira Service Management, or similar ticketing tools
Basic Shell Scripting
Preferred Skills:
RHCSA or Open Shift Certification
Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager
Jenkins, Tekton, Git Lab CI, Argo CD
Helm
Experience working in a 24x7 support environment
