Role Description The Junior Embedded Hardware / Software Design Engineer will support the design, development, and testing of embedded systems for industrial networking products. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in hardware schematic review, embedded software development, debugging and troubleshooting, and validating designs against performance and safety requirements. The role involves close collaboration with senior engineers to implement firmware features, optimize system performance, and participate in product documentation and release activities.

This is a full time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad, requiring hands-on work in lab and production environments.





Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Software Design and Software Development for embedded and industrial networking applications.
- Candidates should possess skills in Embedded Software development and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) for firmware and device-level control.
- Candidates should possess strong Debugging skills for hardware-software integration, issue analysis, and system optimization.
- Understanding of microcontrollers, embedded processors, and basic digital/analog electronics is beneficial.
- Familiarity with C/C++ programming, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and communication protocols (Ethernet, TCP/IP, RF, LTE, Modbus, etc.) is an advantage.
- Ability to read schematics, use lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers), and follow engineering best practices is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Computer Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills, willingness to learn, and ability to work collaboratively on-site in Ahmedabad are expected.
