Role Description The Junior Accountant role is a full time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. In this role, the team member will assist with day-to-day accounting operations, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.

Responsibilities include preparing basic financial reports, reconciling bank statements, monitoring invoices, and ensuring accurate and timely data entry into accounting systems.

The Junior

Accountant will help with GST and other statutory compliance tasks, support month-end and year-end closing activities, and coordinate with internal teams and external auditors as needed. The role also involves maintaining organized documentation, following company policies,



and contributing to continuous improvement of accounting processes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess foundational accounting skills, including knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, and basic financial reporting.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting software (such as Tally or similar ERP systems), along with good Excel and general MS Office skills.
- Candidates should possess strong numerical aptitude, attention to detail, and accuracy in data entry and document handling.
- Candidates should possess an understanding of GST, TDS, and other basic taxation and compliance requirements relevant to manufacturing and listed companies.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with finance, operations, and external partners.
- Candidates should possess good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Relevant educational background such as a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field; pursuing or holding professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA foundation) is an advantage.
- Prior internship or 1–2 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments, will be beneficial.
