Job Summary:

JDE JD:

We are seeking a Senior Functional Consultant with strong hands-on experience in JD Edwards (JDE) Planning and Distribution with favour understanding of Shop Floor management, including functional ownership of core processes, master data, integrations, and user enablement. The role will partner with business stakeholders, IT, and external vendors to deliver reliable, compliant, and scalable solutions across planning, shop floor, procurement, and related integrations.

Key responsibilities:

- Lead functional design and solution delivery for Planning and Manufacturing processes in JDE, covering:

- Shop Floor Management

- Distribution and Warehouse

- Requirements Planning (MRP/DRP)

- Procurement
- Own end-to-end functional support and continuous improvement, including process mapping, gap analysis, fit-gap, and solution recommendations.
- Drive third-party integration initiatives with JDE, including requirements, functional design, testing, cutover support, and hypercare.




- Configure and support JDE master data setup and core functional capabilities, ensuring data integrity and standardized ways of working.
- Leverage JDE Citizen Developer capabilities to deliver business value, including:

- Form Extensions

- Orchestrations

- Watchlists

- UDOs

- Notifications
- Support and/or coordinate implementation and troubleshooting of EDI-related flows such as:

- ASN/DESADV
- Purchase Orders (PO) via EDI
- Collaborate on solutions that include scanning applications integrated with JDE (advantage).
- Produce high-quality functional deliverables:

- Functional Specifications (FS)
- UAT strategy, scripts, test cases, and execution support
- Defect triage and resolution coordination with technical teams
- Act as a senior advisor to stakeholders, facilitating workshops, driving decisions, and ensuring traceability from requirements to delivered outcomes.

Preferred qualifications (nice to have)
- Experience with scanning applications integrated with JDE (warehouse, shop floor, receiving, inventory movements).
- Experience in global/complex manufacturing environments (multi-site, multi-company, regulated processes).
- Knowledge of standard testing practices and tools (test management/defect tracking).
