Java Tech Lead | 6-Month Contract

Location: Remote

Experience: 5+ Years

Contract Duration: 6 Months

Compensation: Up to ₹60,000/month

We are looking for an experienced Java Tech Lead with strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices and Kafka, along with prior technical leadership experience.

? Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design and architecture of scalable, secure and high-performing enterprise applications
- Provide technical direction and guide a team of Java engineers

• Develop and maintain applications using Java & Spring Boot

• Design and develop RESTful APIs and Microservices

• Build event-driven integrations using Apache Kafka

- Design and support internal and external system integrations
- Lead code reviews, troubleshooting, performance optimization and technical decision-making
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers
- Work with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Design and optimize database queries and data models




- Support scheduled/batch processing and enterprise reporting solutions
- Ensure coding standards, security practices and Agile/Scrum practices are followed

Must-Have Skills
- 5+ years of Java development experience
- Solid Spring Boot & Microservices experience
- Hands-on REST API development
- Apache Kafka / event-driven architecture
- PostgreSQL and/or Oracle SQL/PLSQL
- Hibernate/JPA and preferably MyBatis
- Enterprise system/integration experience
- Prior Tech Lead / Technical Leadership experience
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum
