JD 1: Java Software Engineer

Experience: 3 to 6 years

Role Summary

We are looking for a hands-on Software Engineer with experience in Java, Python, REST APIs, automation, CI/CD and Agile delivery. The engineer will support TVAS remediation and related engineering activities by working on vulnerability fixes, release system improvements, automation tasks and integration support based on patterns defined by onshore technical leads.

Key Responsibilities

- Work on vulnerability remediation, dependency upgrades, code fixes and validation activities.
- Develop and maintain Java/Python-based services, scripts, utilities and API integrations.
- Contribute to the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of scalable enterprise applications, platform services, and system integrations, with a focus on reliability, performance, and continuous improvement.
- Follow approved engineering patterns and coding standards shared by technical leads.
- Participate in sprint planning, development, testing, defect fixing and release validation.
- Support CI/CD pipeline updates, build checks and basic automation improvements.
- Perform unit testing, API testing and integration validation for assigned work.
- Collaborate with onshore and offshore team members to deliver sprint commitments.
- Provide regular updates on progress, blockers and completion status in Agile tools.

Required Skills

- 3 to 5 years of software development experience.
- Good hands-on experience in Java and Python.
- Experience with REST API development and integration.
- Working knowledge of Git, CI/CD and Agile delivery.
- Exposure to automation development or scripting.
- Basic understanding of secure coding and vulnerability remediation.
- Good debugging,



analytical and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

- Exposure to DevSecOps practices.
- Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps or similar tools.
- Understanding of release engineering, build validation and deployment processes.
- Experience with API testing tools or automation frameworks.

JD 2: Java Senior / Lead Software Engineer

Experience: 7+ years

Role Summary

We are looking for a Senior or Lead Software Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Java, Python, REST APIs, automation, CI/CD, DevSecOps and release engineering. The role will support TVAS remediation and related engineering work while also providing technical guidance to offshore team members.

The candidate should be able to understand technical direction from onshore leads, break work into clear tasks, guide engineers, review deliverables and help improve overall sprint throughput and quality.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and contribute to vulnerability remediation, code fixes, dependency upgrades and release-system improvements.
- Work closely with onshore technical leads to understand approved patterns and execution priorities.
- Guide offshore engineers on Java, Python, REST API, automation and CI/CD related tasks.
- Contribute to the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of scalable enterprise applications,



platform services, and system integrations, with a focus on reliability, performance, and continuous improvement.
- Break down technical requirements into actionable tasks for sprint execution.
- Review code changes, automation scripts, API updates and remediation fixes.
- Identify technical blockers, risks and dependencies, and work with stakeholders to resolve them.
- Support sprint planning, estimation, backlog refinement and delivery tracking.
- Ensure deliverables are tested, documented and release-ready.
- Mentor mid-level engineers and help maintain consistent engineering quality across the team.

Required Skills

- 7+ years of software engineering experience.
- Solid hands-on experience in Java and Python.
- Good experience in REST API design, development and troubleshooting.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows and release engineering.
- Good understanding of DevSecOps, secure coding and vulnerability remediation.
- Experience guiding or mentoring engineers in a distributed Agile team.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving and technical decision-making skills.
- Good communication skills with ability to work across onshore and offshore teams.

Preferred Skills

- Prior experience as a technical lead or senior engineer in remediation, platform or release engineering work.
- Exposure to security scanning tools and vulnerability management processes.
- Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps or similar platforms.
- Exposure to cloud, containerisation or microservices environments.
- Ability to create simple technical notes, implementation guidance and reusable patterns.
