A Boiler Helper supports Boiler Operators and technicians by maintaining, cleaning, and repairing boiler systems, fuel-handling equipment, and surrounding areas.

Key responsibilities include operating heavy equipment, assisting with, and performing manual labor tasks such as ash disposal, tube cleaning, and site maintenance to ensure safe, efficient operations.

Core Responsibilities

- Maintenance & Cleaning: Clean/lubricate boilers, tubes, and auxiliary equipment; explicit ash, debris, and clogged fuel lines using hand tools.

- Operational Support: Assist operators with monitoring boiler water levels, fuel feeds (sawdust, bark), and chemical levels.

- Material Handling: Load, move, and store materials used in boiler repair, including handling insulation for boiler covering.

- Site Safety & Logistics: Adhere to strict safety protocols, keep work areas clean, and operate forklifts or front-end loaders.

- Assistance: Support mechanics in installing burners and repairing boilers, tanks,



and vessels.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Experience: Entry-level position, though prior experience with machinery or industrial cleaning is preferred.

- Physical Ability: Capacity to lift (50text{ lbs}) occasionally and (20text{ lbs}) repetitively, plus ability to work in high-temperature or outdoor environments.

- Skills: Ability to follow detailed technical instructions and use basic hand/power tools.
