Job Title: Home Helper

Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living and routine household needs.
- Provide support with cleaning, laundry, bed-making, dishwashing, and general tidying.
- Assist with meal preparation and maintaining essential household supplies.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Assist with grocery shopping, errands, and attending appointments.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized home environment.
- Observe and report any changes in the client's physical or mental condition to the appropriate supervisor.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, families, colleagues, and supervisors.
- Participate in handovers to ensure continuity of care and support.
- Respect clients' dignity, privacy, confidentiality, and individual needs at all times.
- Follow health, safety, safeguarding, and confidentiality procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home care, elderly care, domestic assistance, caregiving, or community care will be an advantage.
- Positive communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, caring, and reliable personality.
- Basic understanding of health and safety practices.
- Willingness to perform domestic and physically demanding tasks.
- Strong sense of responsibility, empathy, and respect for clients.
Working Conditions
- Community-based role involving visits to clients' homes.
- Flexible working hours and shifts may apply.
- May require travel between different client locations.
- The role involves domestic cleaning and other physical tasks, including lifting where required.
