VCS is seeking a talented and motivated Junior Machine Learning Engineer to join our team.

As a Junior Machine Learning Engineer, you will work closely with our experienced data scientists and engineers to develop, implement, and deploy machine learning models and systems. You will have the prospect to work on exciting projects involving machine learning algorithms, deep learning, computer vision, and web development using Python and Flask. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level engineer with a passion for machine learning and a desire to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and systems.
- Implement machine learning algorithms and techniques, including supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, and computer vision.
- Work with convolutional neural networks (CNNs) and other deep learning architectures to solve real-world problems in image recognition, object detection, and image classification.
- Develop and maintain machine learning pipelines and data processing workflows using

Python and related libraries (e.g., NumPy, pandas).

- Build and deploy machine learning models as RESTful APIs using Flask or other web frameworks.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality deliverables.




- Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in machine learning and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of professional experience in machine learning or related fields, with a strong foundation in machine learning algorithms and techniques.
- Knowledge of deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Familiarity with computer vision techniques and libraries (e.g., OpenCV).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, with experience in web development using Flask or similar frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and frameworks.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with version control systems such as Git and collaboration tools such as JIRA.
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Experience with Docker and containerization technologies.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
