Linux System Administration :

- Deploy, configure, and maintain Linux servers across distributions including Ubuntu, Red Hat, and CentOS in production and staging environments.
- Perform advanced system performance tuning: CPU pinning, NUMA topology optimization, IRQ affinity, huge pages configuration, and kernel parameter tuning (sysctl).
- Manage OS-level scheduling policies, real-time priorities (SCHED FIFO/SCHED RR), and CPU isolation (isolcpus) to eliminate jitter.

HFT Infrastructure & Low-Latency Engineering :

- Manage and optimize bare-metal HFT trading infrastructure with a relentless focus on determinism, performance, and latency reduction.
- Support HFT architecture and workflows including market data ingestion, order management systems (OMS), and execution infrastructure.
- Manage exchange connectivity, colocation environments, and co-location service provider relationships.
- Work with ultra-low latency network hardware: 10/25/40/100GbE NICs, including Solarflare and Mellanox/NVIDIA ConnectX adapters, and Cisco Nexus X25 SmartNICs (K3P-S).

Data Centre & Network Operations :

- Administer data centre Linux environments including rack management, cabling, power, and cooling coordination.
- Manage L2/L3 data centre networks including VLANs, spanning tree, BGP/OSPF routing, and multicast (PIM-SM) configurations.
- Configure and manage high-speed network switches (Cisco Nexus series) for ultra-low latency operation.




- Support market data distribution infrastructure and feed handlers connected to major exchanges.
- Ensure network high availability through redundant paths, failover configurations, and proactive capacity planning.

Storage, Monitoring & Automation :

- Manage high-performance storage systems including NVMe SSDs, RAID configurations, and high-throughput storage arrays used for tick data and trading logs.
- Build and maintain monitoring and alerting infrastructure using Prometheus, Grafana, and custom latency dashboards to provide real-time visibility across all systems.
- Automate routine infrastructure tasks using Bash and Python scripting, including deployment automation, health checks, log rotation, and configuration management..

QUALIFICATIONS :

- Bachelor's degree (BE/B.Tech) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics, or a closely related engineering discipline.
- Linux certifications strongly preferred: RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer), RHCSA (Red Hat Certified System Administrator), or LPIC-1/LPIC-2 (Linux Skilled Institute Certification).
- Networking certifications preferred: CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) or CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional).
- 3 to 8 years of hands-on experience administering Linux systems in production, with at least 2 years in HFT, financial services, or low-latency computing environments.
