Hiring: Embedded Hardware Design Engineer | Avionics | 3–7 Years

Location: Bangalore, India

Experience: 3–7 Years

Employment Type: Full-time

We are looking for an Embedded Hardware Design Engineer with solid experience in analog, digital, and power electronics to work on avionics and safety-critical embedded systems.

Key Responsibilities

Embedded Hardware Design

- Design and develop embedded hardware for avionics systems, including power electronics, analog/digital circuits, and high-speed interfaces.
- Perform circuit analysis, simulations, component selection, and design optimization.
- Ensure hardware designs comply with applicable standards such as DO-160G, DO-254, ISO 26262, and MIL-STD-461.

PCB Design & Layout

- Develop schematics and support PCB design/layout using Altium, Cadence, or similar tools.
- Perform Signal Integrity (SI), Power Integrity (PI), and thermal analysis.
- Review PCB layouts for manufacturability, reliability, and design compliance.

Hardware Verification & Validation

- Develop and execute hardware test plans for unit, integration, and system-level testing.
- Support EMI/EMC, thermal, vibration, and environmental testing as per DO-160G.
- Perform hardware debugging, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.

Cross-functional Collaboration

- Collaborate with software, systems, FPGA, and mechanical engineering teams for product integration.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for component selection, technical evaluation, and issue resolution.

Required Qualifications




- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
- 3–7 years of experience in embedded hardware development.
- Strong expertise in analog, digital, and power electronics design.
- Hands-on experience with PCB design/layout and tools such as Altium or Cadence.
- Knowledge of DO-160G, DO-254, ISO 26262, and MIL-STD-461.
- Experience with laboratory instruments such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, power supplies, and signal generators.
- Strong hardware debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with FPGA/HDL (VHDL/Verilog) is an added advantage.

Preferred Skills Systems: Avionics Hardware, Embedded Systems, Analog/Digital Electronics, Power Electronics, High-Speed Interfaces

PCB: Altium, Cadence, Schematic Capture, PCB Layout, SI/PI, Thermal Analysis

Verification: Hardware V&V;, EMI/EMC, Environmental Testing, Debugging, Root-Cause Analysis

Standards: DO-160G, DO-254, ISO 26262, MIL-STD-461

FPGA: VHDL / Verilog — Good to have
