Elara is a U.S.-based company that is setting up a subsidiary in Kochi, India. Based on decades of experience, Elara is building a modern enterprise healthcare platform using React, C#, SQL Server, secure APIs, cloud infrastructure, AI-enabled services, and reusable frontend components that prioritises end-user experience and accessibility needs.

While we’re still in the discovery phase, we'd like our architecture to reflect a modern twelve-factor application with a shift-left mentality. We highly value infrastructure as code, modern secrets management, integration with automated code-quality tools, the ability to automatically provision environments, observability, containerisation, etc. In addition, integration of testing with both dev environments and CI/CD pipelines, database management and migrations, authentication, and a frequent, low-effort release strategy are key.

Multiple roles from Full-Stack Developer to Principal Engineer

Location

Kochi’s a port city on the Arabian Sea, an ancient trade hub for hundreds of years with the Arabs, the Chinese, and the Europeans. It's surrounded by greenery, with everything from the mountains to the seas within a short drive, and has a vibrant multi-cultural, multi-faith society. As we start, for the first year, we're willing to consider freelance engineers who’re able to work in our timezone. Our preference, though,



is always a permanent position. We’ll help you relocate.
