The Role

As a Front-End Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and optimising modern web applications and digital experiences using React, Next.js and Contentful CMS.

You will work closely with Solutions Architects, UI/UX designers, backend developers, QA engineers and business stakeholders to build scalable, responsive and high-performing digital platforms.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on development experience with React and Next.js, combined with practical experience integrating and developing solutions using Contentful or similar headless CMS platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop modern, responsive and scalable web applications using React and Next.js.
- Build and maintain frontend components and reusable component libraries.
- Integrate frontend applications with Contentful CMS.
- Develop Contentful-driven pages, components and content experiences.
- Integrate REST and GraphQL APIs and third-party services.
- Translate UI/UX designs into high-quality, responsive web experiences.




- Work with Solutions Architects and backend developers to implement technical designs.
- Develop clean, maintainable and reusable JavaScript/TypeScript code.
- Implement server-side rendering (SSR), static site generation (SSG) and modern Next.js capabilities where appropriate.
- Optimise websites for speed, scalability and Core Web Vitals.
- Ensure responsive behaviour and cross-browser/device compatibility.
- Implement SEO-friendly frontend architecture and technical SEO requirements.
- Support accessibility standards and best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain development standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve frontend performance and application issues.
- Support automated testing and quality assurance processes.
- Work within CI/CD and modern DevOps environments.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, estimation and sprint planning.
- Collaborate with local and international project teams.
