Freelance Technical Interviewer

Role Overview

We are looking for experienced technical professionals to join our interviewer network on a freelance basis. As a Technical Interviewer, you will be responsible for conducting high-quality technical interviews, evaluating candidates fairly and objectively, and providing detailed feedback to support hiring decisions.

This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, professionalism, reliability, and the ability to assess candidates across different experience levels and technology domains.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct technical interviews for software engineering and technology roles across various domains and seniority levels.
- Review the , candidate profile, and interview requirements before every interview.
- Prepare relevant interview questions and evaluation criteria in advance whenever required.
- Ensure that the interview difficulty level is appropriate and aligned with the candidate's experience, role expectations, and job requirements.
- Keep your camera turned on throughout the interview whenever required by the client or interview process.
- Maintain a skilled, respectful, and engaging interview environment for all candidates.
- Assess candidates on technical knowledge, problem-solving ability, coding skills, system design, communication, and overall role fit as applicable.
- Detect and report any signs of cheating, external assistance, plagiarism, impersonation, or suspicious interview behavior.
- Handle minor technical and non-technical issues that may arise during interviews, including connectivity issues, coding platform challenges, audio/video problems, and candidate-related concerns.
- Ask relevant follow-up questions to validate depth of knowledge and practical experience.
- Provide clear, detailed, evidence-based, and constructive feedback after every interview.




- Ensure evaluations are objective and supported by specific observations rather than subjective opinions.
- Submit interview feedback within the turnaround time of 1-2 hours.

- Honor all confirmed interview commitments and avoid no-shows or last-minute cancellations.
- Join interviews on time and be fully prepared before the scheduled start time.
- Have a stable internet connection, functioning audio/video setup, and a quiet professional environment.
- Follow all interview guidelines, evaluation rubrics, and client-specific requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality of candidate information, interview content, assessment criteria, and client details.
- Avoid discrimination, bias, or unfair evaluation practices.
- Represent the organization professionally during every candidate interaction.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience conducting technical interviews.
- Strong expertise in one or more technology domains.
- Experience interviewing candidates across multiple experience levels.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to provide structured and actionable feedback.
- Experience with coding assessments, system design interviews, architecture discussions, or domain-specific evaluations.

Interviewers will be evaluated based on:

- Interview quality and candidate experience.
- Accuracy and consistency of evaluations.
- Feedback quality and completeness.
- Professionalism and communication.
- Punctuality and reliability.
- Adherence to interview guidelines.
- No-show and cancellation rates.
- Client and candidate satisfaction.

Repeated no-shows, poor-quality evaluations, delayed feedback submissions, unprofessional conduct, or violations of interview guidelines may result in removal from the interviewer network.
