Key Responsibilities

- Plan, schedule and monitor the daily movement of the commercial vehicle fleet across all locations
- Optimize route planning to reduce fuel costs, transit time and vehicle downtime
- Manage preventive and breakdown maintenance schedules in coordination with the workshop team
- Supervise, train and manage drivers and support staff, ensuring discipline and productivity
- Monitor fuel consumption, vehicle mileage and overall operating costs to control expenses
- Ensure all vehicles comply with statutory documentation, permits, insurance and safety norms
- Track fleet performance through MIS reports and present regular updates to management
- Coordinate with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery commitments

Requirements

- Graduate in any discipline; additional certification in logistics or transport management is a plus
- 3 to 5 years of experience in fleet management,



transport operations or logistics
- Solid understanding of route planning, fuel management and vehicle maintenance cycles
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team of drivers and ground staff
- Good communication skills with a problem-solving and ownership-driven mindset
- Strong sense of ownership, integrity and accountability towards assigned responsibilities
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
- Good time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively
