Role Description The Head of Critical Care Medicine will lead and oversee the hospital’s critical care services, ensuring evidence-based, patient-centered care across intensive care units. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring multidisciplinary critical care teams, developing and implementing clinical protocols, and coordinating with other specialties to optimize patient outcomes.



The role involves direct patient management, clinical decision-making for complex cases, and active participation in quality improvement, safety initiatives, and academic activities. The Head will collaborate on resource planning, staffing, and training, while fostering a culture of continuous learning and ethical practice. This is a full-time, on-site role based at SriKamatchi Medical Centre in Thanjavur.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong expertise in Medicine and Critical Care Medicine, with the ability to manage complex and high-acuity cases.
