Role Description This full-time Chemist role is an on-site position based in the Kolkata metropolitan area. The Chemist will perform routine and specialized laboratory testing on various samples to support product inspections and supplier audits. Responsibilities include preparing reagents, calibrating and maintaining analytical instruments, conducting chemical analyses, recording and interpreting test results, and ensuring adherence to internal protocols and external standards. The role involves supporting quality control processes,



documenting findings clearly, collaborating with auditors and technical teams, and contributing to method development and process improvements. The Chemist is expected to follow all safety guidelines, maintain accurate laboratory records, and help ensure that client deliverables are completed on schedule.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Laboratory Skills, including sample preparation, handling of chemicals, and safe operation of laboratory equipment.
Candidates should possess solid Quality Control and Analytical Skills to validate test results, detect nonconformities, and support data-driven decisions.
Candidates should possess Research and Development (R&D;) and Research skills to assist in method optimization, process improvement, and technical problem-solving.
Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry or a closely related discipline.
