About the RoleWe are looking for a qualified Electrical Engineer to join our Project Management Consultancy (PMC) team for supervision and monitoring of electrical works at residential redevelopment and construction projects across Mumbai and the MMR region.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that electrical works executed by contractors are in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, project schedules and applicable regulations. PMC electrical supervision typically includes execution monitoring, quality checks, measurements/bill verification, documentation and coordination with contractors and other consultants.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise day-to-day electrical works at project sites.
- Monitor contractor's execution as per approved electrical drawings, specifications and BOQ.
- Inspect electrical installations including:
- LT/HT electrical systems
- Transformers and DG sets
- Electrical panels and distribution boards
- Cable laying and termination
- Earthing and lightning protection
- Common-area electrical systems
- Lighting and power distribution
- Fire alarm and related ELV systems
- CCTV, access control and other ELV works
- Lifts and electrical interface works
- Review electrical shop drawings, material submittals and technical specifications.
- Check quality of electrical materials delivered to site.
- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP consultants, contractors and vendors.
- Identify technical issues at site and coordinate for timely resolution.
- Monitor progress against the approved project schedule.
- Maintain Daily Progress Reports, inspection reports and site records.
- Verify measurements of electrical works executed by contractors.
- Assist in checking and certification of RA bills and final bills.




- Conduct regular site inspections and prepare snag/punch-point lists.
- Ensure testing and commissioning of electrical systems is properly carried out.
- Coordinate with electricity distribution authorities and other statutory agencies wherever required.
- Ensure compliance with applicable IS/IEC standards, electrical safety requirements and project specifications.
- Monitor safety practices during electrical installation and testing.
- Attend site meetings and provide technical inputs to the PMC/project management team.
- Coordinate electrical works with civil, architectural, plumbing, HVAC and fire-fighting services to avoid clashes and rework.
- Review as-built drawings and handover documentation.
- Report delays, deviations, quality issues and major technical concerns to the Project Manager/PMC Head.
- Perform other electrical engineering and PMC-related duties assigned by the management.

Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering preferred.
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering may be considered for candidates with relevant site experience.
- Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in construction, MEP, electrical contracting or PMC site supervision.
- Experience in residential/commercial building construction or redevelopment projects will be an advantage.

Required Skills
- Good knowledge of electrical building services and construction practices.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, SLDs and BOQs.
- Knowledge of electrical testing and commissioning procedures.
- Knowledge of electrical materials and specifications.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Proficiency in MS Excel,



Word and preparation of site reports.
- Good measurement and billing-verification skills.
- Strong contractor and site coordination abilities.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to identify construction defects and technical deviations.

Site & Travel Requirements
- The position involves regular site visits across Mumbai and the MMR region.
- Candidate should be comfortable travelling to project sites as required.
- Attendance at contractor meetings, client meetings and site coordination meetings may be required.
- Willingness to work at construction sites and monitor ongoing activities is essential.
