We are looking for a Software Developer to help maintain and evolve an established Azure-based backend platform. The focus of the role is ensuring the stability, reliability, and maintainability of the system through issue investigation, bug fixing, dependency upgrades, and continuous technical improvements.

We are building an end-to-end capable engineering team. Every developer should be able to investigate and resolve issues across the application stack—from frontend to backend to database. While specialization is welcome, we expect strong engineering fundamentals, curiosity, and a willingness to work outside your primary area of expertise when needed.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain and enhance existing backend services built with .NET 8 / C#
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues across backend services, Azure resources, databases, and, when required, the frontend
- Upgrade frameworks, libraries, and platform dependencies to keep the application secure and supported
- Analyze application behavior and perform root cause analysis for defects and incidents
- Implement bug fixes, performance improvements, and technical enhancements while preserving system stability
- Improve code quality through testing, refactoring, and adherence to engineering best practices
- Support production operations, including incident handling and monitoring
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
- Collaborate closely with the team by communicating feedback, questions,



and blockers early, and proactively driving work forward

Must Have

- Professional experience developing backend applications with .NET 8 / C#
- Experience developing cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure
- Experience building REST APIs and backend services
- Experience with Azure Cosmos DB and NoSQL data modeling
- Solid debugging and troubleshooting skills across application and data layers
- Understanding of asynchronous programming and distributed applications
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including clean code, maintainability, reliability, and testing
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset

Should Have

- Experience with automated testing (unit and integration tests)
- Experience with Application Insights, logging, monitoring, and observability
- Experience with CI/CD using GitHub Actions
- Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, SAFe)

Nice to Have

- Experience with Azure Durable Functions and workflow orchestration
- Experience with Azure Storage (Blob Storage)
- Experience with Azure Batch or distributed job execution
- Frontend development experience with a modern JavaScript framework (React preferred; experience with Angular, Vue, or similar frameworks is also welcome)
- Willingness to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation
