Dentira

India

Dentira is one of the fastest-growing, profitable healthcare startups, building the operating system for dental commerce - modernizing procurement, payments, and operational workflows for multi-site health care services organizations. We are a Series B company backed by Vista Equity Partners, one of the largest private equity firms. As we enter our next phase of scale, we are building the supplier network that makes our marketplace work.

The Prospect

We are seeking a Director of Marketplace Supplier Management to own the supply side of the Dentira marketplace - which suppliers join it, how they integrate, how well they perform, and what the relationship is worth to both sides.

Every distributor, manufacturer, and lab that our customers buy from is a potential partner, and the depth and quality of that network is what determines whether a DSO can run its entire spend through Dentira or only part of it. This role owns that outcome. It is equally commercial and operational: you will negotiate the terms suppliers participate under, onboard them, and you will be accountable for catalog accuracy, integration health, and fill rates once they are live.

This is a handson and highly visible leadership role with direct impact on customer retention, platform coverage, and a growing supplier-derived revenue line.

What You’ll Own

Supplier Network Strategy & Growth

- Own the strategy for which suppliers belong on the Dentira marketplace — distributors, manufacturers, dental labs, and specialty vendors — and the sequencing of that expansion
- Recruit, pitch, and onboard new suppliers, from first conversation through live integration and first transaction
- Grow the share of customer spend flowing through integrated suppliers, measured by category coverage and attach rate across the MSO base
- Articulate the supplier value proposition: what a supplier gains from being on Dentira, and what it costs them not to be

Integration & Catalog Operations

- Own the supplier integration roadmap in partnership with Engineering - API, RPAs, and EDI connections - including scoping, prioritization, and go-live
- Ensure catalog integrity across a fragmented supplier base: product data, contracted pricing, availability, and unit-of-measure normalization
- Operate within the terms of each supplier agreement, ensuring integration methods, permitted data use, retention, and AI restrictions are respected in what we build
- Drive down time-to-onboard for a new supplier and time-to-load for a new customer’s contracted pricing

Supplier Performance & Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary relationship owner for supplier partners, from category managers through executive sponsors
- Build and run supplier scorecards covering fill rate, order accuracy, pricing integrity, integration uptime, and issue resolution
- Run quarterly business reviews and resolve systemic issues before they reach customers
- Manage underperforming suppliers to improvement or to exit - a supplier roster that only grows is a sign the standards are not real

Commercial Terms & Economics
- Negotiate supplier participation terms, integration commitments, and program economics in partnership with Vendor Relations and Legal
- Own supplier-derived contribution as a reported metric, with a defensible forecast
- Structure programs that withstand customer and regulatory scrutiny; transparency about how Dentira is compensated is not optional

Customer & Cross-Functional Impact
- Partner with Product on marketplace surfaces, supplier tooling,

and the ordering experience
- Work with Sales and Customer Success so supplier coverage supports new wins and renewals, particularly during customer onboarding
- Feed supplier, category, and pricing insight back into roadmap and commercial decisions

Team Building & Leadership
- Build and lead a team of supplier managers and supplier operations specialists
- Establish repeatable playbooks for supplier recruitment, onboarding, and performance management
- Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and data-driven decision-making

What We’re Looking For

- 7+ years in marketplace supplier or seller management, category management, distribution, procurement, or vendor operations, including 2+ years leading a team
- Experience growing a supplier network or two-sided marketplace from an early stage into repeatable process
- Demonstrated ownership of supplier integrations - API, EDI, or RPA - and the operational discipline that catalog and pricing accuracy demands
- Strong commercial negotiation skills, with experience structuring participation terms and program economics
- Fluency with data: able to build the model behind a supplier program and defend the assumptions
- Healthcare, dental, or medical distribution background strongly preferred; existing relationships across dental distributors, manufacturers, or labs are a significant advantage
- Ability to balance growth with compliance, contractual constraints, and data governance
- Excellent executive presence with external partners and internal stakeholders

Why Join Dentira

- Own the supply side of a marketplace at the point where depth of network becomes the competitive moat
- Shape the future of intelligent healthcare commerce infrastructure
- Significant ownership, executive visibility, and direct impact on a growing revenue line
- Competitive compensation + meaningful equity participation
