Key Responsibilities

Strategic Business Partnership

- Serve as the primary HR partner to the India Leadership Team, ensuring people priorities are directly aligned with business strategy, growth objectives and operational needs.
- Advise leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, succession, talent reviews, leadership effectiveness and change execution.
- Use workforce data, trends and insights to surface risks, identify opportunities and inform leadership decisions.
- Embed Alights values, culture and leadership expectations across the India organization.
- Build manager capability across India by equipping people leaders to drive performance, engagement, accountability, communication and colleague support with consistency and confidence.
- Connect people priorities to business outcomes, including operational stability, productivity, ramp readiness, attrition management and leadership capacity.

HRBP, Employee Relations and Organizational Effectiveness

- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing HRBP and Employee Relations team.
- Establish clear operating rhythms, governance mechanisms and accountability across the HRBP and ER functions.




- Build consistent employee relations practices that balance colleague experience, business needs and risk management.
- Ensure effective handling of investigations, employee concerns, disciplinary matters and workplace issues across all locations.
- Lead workforce integration, employee rebadging and organizational transition initiatives, ensuring a seamless colleague experience, continuity of delivery and effective cultural integration.
- Drive consistency in manager practices, people decisions and employee experience across teams and locations.
- Establish proactive risk-sensing mechanisms to identify engagement concerns, manager capability gaps, attrition risks, cultural hotspots and employee relations patterns before they escalate.
- Lead employee listening, engagement action planning and leader follow-through across sites, translating colleague feedback into clear, measurable improvements.
- Strengthen cultural integration across legacy and incoming colleague populations by reinforcing one Alight identity, consistent leadership practices and inclusive employee experiences.

HR Operations, Governance and Global Partnership

- Design and implement scalable HR processes, operating mechanisms and governance frameworks that support Indias continued growth and complexity.
- Develop meaningful people metrics, dashboards and insights that strengthen accountability and decision-making.
- Partner with global HR and business leaders to align enterprise priorities with India business needs.
- Advise global stakeholders on India workforce dynamics, labor market trends, regulatory requirements and cultural considerations.
- Build strong partnerships across Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Talent Management, HR Operations, Legal and Compliance.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies and regulatory requirements across all India locations.
- Translate global policies,



programs and standards into practical India-ready execution, ensuring managers understand expectations and apply policies consistently across teams and locations.
- Maintain visible leadership across India locations through regular leader connects, employee forums, site visits and local issue-resolution mechanisms.

Qualifications

- Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
- 20+ years of progressive HR experience, including significant HR Business Partner and Employee Relations leadership responsibilities, with at least 5 years leading teams.
- Experience operating within a large, complex, matrixed multinational organization.
- Demonstrated success building scalable HR operating models, governance frameworks and people processes.
- Experience leading workforce transitions, employee rebadging, integrations, acquisitions or other large-scale organizational transformation initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws, employee relations practices and regulatory requirements.
- Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive business outcomes through people strategies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational effectiveness capabilities.
- Exceptional executive communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Willingness to work from the office five days per week and travel periodically across India locations.
