Prepare design calculations & reports for various types of Steel and

RCC Structures in line with relevant IS and International Codes

Prepare Design Basis, Technical Specifications and Design

Drawings for RCC / Steel Structures

Approval of design calculations from Client / Third Party Consultants

Prepare Material Take Off and Bill Of Quantity and should be able to prepare estimates and budgetary costing

Design optimization in terms of Safety, Cost & Construction methodology

Preparation of Technical Document for Structural Steel Material

Requisition

Assist Procurement Department for various Technical Evaluations

Detailed checking and approval of RCC / Steel Structure drawings issued by Sub-Contractor / Detailer

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree / Master’s Degree in Civil Engg

Additional Requirements /

Certifications / Preferences for the Job:

Should have expertise on design software’s such as STAAD Pro,

STAAD Foundation, ETABs etc

Experience





Minimum 3-7 years of experience in the field of Basic & Detail

Engineering in various sectors such as Minerals & Metals,

Hydrocarbon, Power, Infrastructure etc.

Experience in Civil design projects with consulting engineering firms in design of various industrial steel & RCC structures will be an added advantage

Skills

Conversant with design softwares like – STAAD.Pro, STAAD

Foundation, ETABs, etc.

Expertise in MS Office and hands on knowledge of other engineering softwares viz. PDS, PDMS, Auto plant 3D etc

Familiarity with Civil-Structural detailing related softwares such as

AutoCAD, Tekla, etc.

Possess excellent communication and co-ordination skills (both verbal and written)

Flexible to travel globally on project requirements

Ability to work in a team environment

Self-initiator, motivator and should be versatile in approach
