Role Description The Data Science Instructor will deliver engaging, industry-aligned instruction in data science and related topics to learners at various skill levels. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and delivering lessons, leading live classroom sessions, guiding learners through practical projects, and providing individualized feedback and mentorship. The instructor will create and refine curriculum materials, design assessments, and collaborate with the academic team to keep content current with industry practices and tools.

Additional responsibilities include hosting doubt-clearing sessions, supporting learners in interview preparation, and contributing to the overall learning experience at SKILLIT ACADEMY. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad.

Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Data Science Instructor to train students in data analysis, statistics, machine learning, and practical data science techniques.



The instructor will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, hands-on projects, and industry-oriented training.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver instructor-led training in Data Science and Machine Learning.
- Teach Python, SQL, statistics, data visualization, and exploratory data analysis.
- Explain machine learning concepts and algorithms using practical examples.
- Guide students through real-world projects and case studies.
- Develop lesson plans, assignments, quizzes, and course materials.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Assist learners with projects, portfolios, and interview preparation.
- Stay updated with current data science tools, technologies, and industry practices.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Python, SQL, Pandas, NumPy, and data visualization.
- Good understanding of statistics and probability.
- Knowledge of supervised and unsupervised machine learning.
- Familiarity with tools such as Scikit-learn, Matplotlib, Seaborn, and Jupyter Notebook.
- Robust communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a simple and practical manner.
- Good mentoring and classroom-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Industry experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Analytics.
- Previous teaching or corporate-training experience.
- Knowledge of deep learning, NLP, Generative AI, or cloud platforms is an advantage.
