About The Role We are seeking an experienced Associate Technical Architect - Data to join our dynamic team in Mumbai or Bangalore. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design, architecture, and implementation of enterprise-scale AWS data platforms and Lakehouse solutions.

You will serve as a technical leader, guiding cross-functional teams through the entire project lifecycle—from conceptual architecture and technology selection to deployment, optimization, and ongoing support. This position requires a deep understanding of modern data engineering technologies, strong architectural expertise, and the ability to mentor and collaborate with engineering teams and stakeholders at all levels. Your work will directly impact our clients’ ability to leverage data for strategic decision-making and operational excellence.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 8 years of experience in designing and implementing large-scale data solutions on AWS. A strong background in cloud-native data architecture, data lake and lakehouse technologies,



and hands-on expertise with AWS services is essential.

Relevant certifications such as AWS Solution Architect (Associate or Professional) or AWS Data Engineer are preferred. Candidates should demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, leadership capabilities, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively. A background in data modeling, distributed processing, and performance tuning is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

- Lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of enterprise-scale AWS data platforms, including Data Lake, Lakehouse, and Data Warehouse solutions.
- Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance data pipelines utilizing AWS native services such as EMR, S3, Athena, Glue, Lambda, and others.
- Design and implement Lakehouse architectures using Apache Iceberg, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Develop and optimize SQL, Spark/PySpark, and Python-based data processing workflows for batch and streaming data pipelines.
- Mentor engineering teams, conduct code and architecture reviews, and promote best practices in cloud data engineering.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Evaluate and recommend technology choices,



define architectural standards, and articulate trade-offs to ensure robust and scalable data platforms.
- Implement orchestration workflows using Apache Airflow or AWS Step Functions to automate data processes.
- Optimize data storage and processing components for performance, reliability, and cost management.
- Ensure data security and compliance by implementing appropriate AWS security and access controls.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including adopting new tools, methodologies, and best practices in data engineering.
