Experience: 15+ years in Data Center Infrastructure / Data Center Solutions

Role Overview - We are looking for an experienced Data Center Solution Architect to lead the design and architecture of end-to-end data center infrastructure solutions for enterprise, hyperscale, AI/HPC and high-density computing environments.

The role will work closely with customers, sales, solution engineering, infrastructure teams, OEMs, consultants and project teams to translate business and technical requirements into scalable, resilient, energy-efficient and commercially viable data center solutions.

The ideal candidate should have robust hands-on understanding of the complete data center lifecycle — planning, design, build, commissioning, operations, expansion and retirement — along with the ability to engage with senior customer stakeholders and lead technical solution discussions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Center Solution Architecture

- Understand customer business, IT infrastructure, capacity and availability requirements and translate them into data center solution architectures.
- Design end-to-end data center infrastructure solutions covering:
- Power infrastructure
- Cooling and thermal management
- Racks and physical infrastructure
- High-density / AI & HPC infrastructure
- Structured cabling and connectivity
- Monitoring and DCIM
- Physical security and operational infrastructure
- Resiliency and redundancy
- Develop scalable solutions considering current requirements as well as future capacity expansion.
- Define appropriate redundancy and availability architecture based on customer requirements.

2. Pre-Sales & Customer Engagement

- Work closely with the sales team during customer engagements, RFPs, RFIs and technical discussions.
- Lead technical discovery sessions and understand customer pain points and infrastructure requirements.
- Prepare and present technical solution proposals to customers and senior stakeholders.
- Participate in customer workshops, solution presentations, technical negotiations and design reviews.
- Provide technical inputs for proposals, tenders and large strategic opportunities.

3. Solution Engineering & Commercial Inputs

- Develop high-level and detailed solution architecture,



BoQ/BoM and technical specifications.
- Work with internal engineering and commercial teams to develop technically sound and commercially competitive solutions.
- Evaluate CAPEX, OPEX, TCO, energy efficiency and lifecycle considerations while developing solutions.
- Review vendor/OEM solutions and recommend appropriate technologies based on performance, reliability, scalability and cost.
- Support solution estimation and technical validation of proposals.

4. Data Center Capacity & Infrastructure Planning

- Perform data center capacity planning covering power, cooling, rack space and future growth.
- Develop long-term capacity roadmaps and infrastructure expansion strategies.
- Evaluate existing data center infrastructure and identify opportunities for consolidation, optimization, retrofit and expansion.
- Support customers in developing data center master plans and transformation roadmaps.

5. AI / HPC & High-Density Data Center Solutions

- Develop solutions for high-density compute environments, including AI/HPC workloads.
- Understand challenges associated with high rack densities, thermal management, power distribution and infrastructure scalability.
- Evaluate appropriate cooling and power architectures for high-density environments.
- Work with compute, networking, storage and infrastructure teams to ensure that the facility architecture supports the intended IT workload.

6. Design Review & Project Support

- Review architectural and engineering designs from internal teams, consultants, OEMs and implementation partners.
- Ensure solutions are practical, scalable, maintainable and aligned with customer requirements.
- Participate in design reviews, technical due diligence and project readiness assessments.
- Support commissioning, testing and handover activities where required.




- Identify technical risks and develop appropriate mitigation plans.

7. Standards, Compliance & Best Practices

- Ensure data center solutions are aligned with relevant industry standards, customer specifications and applicable codes.
- Stay updated on data center technologies, sustainability practices, energy efficiency, cooling technologies and emerging infrastructure trends.
- Contribute to development of internal data center design standards, reference architectures and solution frameworks.

8. Stakeholder & Partner Management

- Collaborate with Sales, Presales, Engineering, Project Management, Procurement and Operations teams.
- Engage with consultants, EPC contractors, OEMs and technology partners.
- Act as the technical interface between customers and internal solution/engineering teams.
- Mentor and guide solution engineers and technical team members.

Required Technical Expertise
- Strong experience in data center infrastructure architecture and solution design.
- Deep understanding of data center power and cooling infrastructure.
- Experience in data center capacity planning and infrastructure sizing.
- Strong understanding of redundancy, resiliency and availability concepts.
- Experience with data center design, expansion, retrofit and migration projects.
- Understanding of DCIM, monitoring and infrastructure management systems.
- Knowledge of data center energy efficiency and sustainability.
- Experience working with OEMs, consultants, EPCs and technology partners.
- Good understanding of AI/HPC and high-density data center environments will be strongly preferred.
- Ability to evaluate technical solutions from both engineering and commercial perspectives.

Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical or a related discipline.
- 15+ years of relevant experience in data center infrastructure, data center design, solution architecture, engineering or consulting.
- Experience handling large-scale data center projects and customer-facing technical engagements.
- Experience in managing multiple stakeholders and geographically distributed projects.
