Role Summary

Lead the delivery, transformation, and continuous improvement of Modern Workplace services, ensuring operational excellence, client satisfaction, financial performance, and strategic growth. The role manages multidisciplinary teams supporting workplace technologies including M365, Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Intune, AVD/Citrix, End User Computing, and collaboration platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Service Delivery & Operations

Own service performance against contractual SLAs, XLAs, KPIs, and client commitments.

Lead incident, problem, change, and service request governance.

Drive service stability, risk mitigation, and continual service improvement initiatives.

Manage major incidents and support executive communications during critical outages.

- Modern Workplace Platform Leadership:

Oversee platforms such as: Productivity & collaboration tools (M365), Intune/MDM/Endpoint Management, remote access (Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) / Citrix, Application Packaging & EUC services.
- Client & Stakeholder Management

Act as the primary interface for client service owners, tower leads, and leadership stakeholders.

Conduct governance reviews, service reviews, and strategic planning sessions.





Present operational performance, risks, financials, and transformation outcomes to leadership.

- Financial & Commercial Management

Manage budgets, forecasts, resource planning, and productivity commitments.

Identify and deliver cost optimization and automation benefits.

Support contract renewals, statement-of-work discussions, and growth opportunities.

- People Leadership

Lead managers, technical leads, SMEs, and operations teams.

Drive hiring, onboarding, capability development, succession planning, and performance management.

Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.

- Automation & continuous improvement

Identify opportunities for automation, AI adoption, self-healing capabilities, and process optimization.

Drive platform modernization and digital workplace transformation initiatives.

Champion productivity and value realization programs.

Typical Experience

15+ years of IT infrastructure or workplace technology experience.

5+ years leading large-scale managed services teams.

Strong understanding of

o M365 ecosystem o EUC operations o Endpoint management o Cloud-based workplace services o ITIL processes o Service governance and commercial management
