The role requires collaborating with business stakeholders to analyze requirements, design configurable product models, and implement scalable SAP PP + VC solutions that integrate seamlessly with enterprise applications. The engineer is responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, supporting configurable products, and continuously enhancing solutions using agile methodologies while ensuring alignment with evolving business needs.

Professional & Technical Skills

Must Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP PP (Production Planning) and SAP Variant Configuration (VC) for Discrete Industries.

Strong expertise in SAP Variant Configuration (LO-VC/Advanced Variant Configuration), including configurable materials, characteristics, classes, dependencies, configuration profiles, and BOM/Routing integration.

Experience in designing, configuring,



and supporting SAP PP + VC solutions to enable configurable manufacturing processes and complex product variants.

Strong experience in software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.

Ability to design and implement scalable software solutions using modern frameworks.

Skilled in debugging, troubleshooting, and optimizing SAP PP/VC solutions and system performance.

Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated SAP solutions.

Familiarity with version control systems and continuous integration practices.

Updated Roles & Responsibilities Responsibilities: Design, configure, and implement SAP PP and SAP Variant Configuration (VC) solutions to support configurable products and manufacturing processes.

Gather business requirements and translate them into SAP VC models, including characteristics, classes, object dependencies, configurable BOMs, routings, and configuration profiles.

Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to integrate SAP PP + VC with other SAP modules such as SD, MM, and PLM where applicable.

Troubleshoot and optimize SAP PP/VC configurations to improve system performance, product configurability, and manufacturing efficiency.

Support testing, deployment, and continuous enhancement of SAP PP + VC solutions in alignment with business requirements.
