Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Jaipur for a CTVS OT Technician and Physician Assistant. The role involves assisting cardiothoracic and vascular surgeons in the operation theater, including preparation of instruments, equipment, and sterile fields, as well as supporting intraoperative procedures. The professional will help monitor patients pre-, intra-, and post-operatively, document clinical information, and ensure adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with surgical, anesthesia, and nursing teams, managing OT schedules and supplies, and supporting post-operative rounds and patient education. The role also includes maintaining accurate medical records,
contributing to quality improvement initiatives, and staying updated with current CTVS and OT practices.
Qualifications
- Relevant clinical training and certification as a Physician Assistant or OT Technician, preferably with specialization or experience in cardiothoracic and vascular surgery.
- Strong knowledge of operation theater procedures, sterile techniques, infection control, and OT equipment handling.
- Ability to assist in pre-operative preparation, intraoperative support, and post-operative care, including basic patient monitoring and documentation.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills for coordinating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Capability to work in a high-pressure surgical environment with attention to detail, time management, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Proficiency in maintaining medical records, using hospital information systems, and following clinical guidelines and protocols.
- Willingness to engage in continuous learning, attend professional development programs, and align with IAPA standards and ethical practices.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Physician Assistant studies, Operation Theater Technology, or a related allied health field; prior CTVS OT experience is highly desirable.
