About the Role

We are looking for a sharp, consumer-obsessed copywriter who can make people stop scrolling—and then make them want to buy. You will write across Zoomies' consumer journey: Ad → Landing Page → Product Page → WhatsApp → Email → Social → Packaging → Campaigns.

The job isn't to write 'nice copy.' The job is to communicate a compelling reason to choose Zoomies.

What You Will Do

1. Performance Advertising

- Write copy for Meta ads, Instagram ads, Google ads, static ads, carousels, video ads, reels, UGC scripts, founder-led videos and influencer briefs.
- Develop hooks, headlines, primary text, CTAs, scripts, product claims, comparison copy and offer communication.

2. Turn Product Features into Consumer Benefits

- Translate product truths into memorable consumer-facing expressions.
- Example: Instead of simply saying 'Made with 100% chicken breast', find the sharper reason-to-believe and communication angle.

3. Develop Multiple Creative Angles

- Build problem, comparison, education, ingredient, value, identity, category-challenge and other creative territories.




- Generate multiple distinct hooks and executions from one underlying consumer insight.

4. UGC & Video Scripts

- Write scripts that sound like real people, not advertisements.
- Work with UGC creators, influencers, founders, pet parents, actors and editors.
- Structure scripts around Hook → Problem → Product → Proof → Payoff → CTA.

5. Website & Conversion Copy

- Write and improve homepage, product pages, landing pages, product descriptions, offers, bundles, subscription messaging, FAQs, pop-ups and checkout messaging.
- Write for conversion, not merely readability.

6. Brand Voice

- Help develop and protect the Zoomies voice: direct, smart, irreverent, clear and consumer-first.
- Make complex product and nutrition information simple, memorable and compelling.

What We Are Looking For

- Exceptional command of English.
- Very robust headline and hook writing.
- Ability to simplify complicated product information.
- Strong understanding of consumer psychology.
- Ability to write conversationally and adapt tone across formats.
- Obsession with valuable advertising.
- Ability to generate many ideas quickly.
- Willingness to rewrite and iterate based on performance data.

Ideal Background

- 1–4 years of experience in D2C, performance marketing, advertising, content or consumer brands.
- Experience writing Meta/performance ads and UGC is strongly preferred.
- Understanding of CAC, ROAS, CTR and CVR is a strong advantage.
- Experience with Indian consumers and consumer brands is a plus.
- Portfolio showing strong advertising thinking and writing.
