ABOUT THIS ROLE

We're looking for a Content Strategy & Editorial Manager to run our content engine, LinkedIn first, then across other channels. This role defines what content gets created, when, for whom, and through which channel, translating business priorities into a scalable editorial roadmap.

This role is designed for someone who can manage complex stakeholder input, prioritize content demand, orchestrate internal and external contributors, and build a scalable content planning model across teams and business areas. It does not primarily create or write content, it owns the content planning, prioritization, workflow, and editorial operating model, and is primarily responsible for developing and maintaining the editorial calendar.

Agency experience is a strong plus; people who have built and run editorial operating models across multiple clients or brands tend to hit the ground running here. But it’s not the only path in; strong in-house strategists with the right experience are just as welcome to apply.

KEY OBJECTIVES

- Build and maintain a scalable editorial content engine across channels
- Translate business priorities into a clear content roadmap and editorial calendar
- Ensure content demand is prioritized, coordinated, and governed effectively
- Improve content efficiency through planning, repurposing, and AI-supported workflows
- Drive adoption of content planning, governance, and editorial processes across teams

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Editorial Planning

- Own the editorial calendar and content roadmap
- Translate business priorities into content plans

- Coordinate content across channels and audiences

Content Intake & Prioritization

- Manage content requests from all stakeholders
- Prioritize content based on business impact and strategic relevance
- Maintain visibility of the content pipeline

Workflow & Governance

- Own the content planning workflow
- Coordinate handoffs between stakeholders, content creators, and publishing teams
- Ensure governance processes are followed

Stakeholder Coordination

- Align brand, PR, social media, and regional/local teams
- Support campaign and content planning
- Ensure content supports the organization's growth priorities

Collaboration

Works closely with

- Brand Strategy (positioning)
- Corporate Communications & PR (stories)
- Social Media & Demand Gen (channel strategy)
- Content Manager (content quality)
- Copywriters (content production)

MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS

- 7+ years of content experience, with demonstrated manager-level ownership of an editorial or content planning function
- Proven ability to build and run a scalable editorial calendar and content roadmap from scratch
- Experience managing content intake and prioritisation across multiple stakeholders

- Robust grasp of channel strategy, with LinkedIn-first experience a core requirement
- Comfort orchestrating internal and external contributors without directly producing the content yourself
- Robust governance and workflow instincts, able to keep a multi-stakeholder editorial process on track

BONUS POINTS (NOT REQUIRED, BUT HELPFUL)

- Agency background, prior experience running editorial operating models for an agency serving multiple clients or brands
- Experience with B2B SaaS, fintech, or martech content strategy
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, SharePoint) for planning and collaboration
- SEO strategy experience, planning content around search intent, not just execution
- Experience working across countries or business units with distributed teams

WHAT YOU'RE NOT

- You're not the primary writer or copywriter, content creators execute; you plan, prioritize, and govern
- You're not a designer, visuals are handled separately
- You're not managing paid media or performance marketing strategy

You're the person who turns business priorities into a scalable editorial engine, and makes sure it runs, on schedule, across every channel.

TOOLS & PLATFORMS

- Content calendar / project tools, Airtable, Trello, Notion, or equivalent
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, SharePoint), planning and collaboration workflow
- CMS platform (WordPress or equivalent)
- LinkedIn and other channel publishing tools
- Basic SEO tools, planning around search intent
