In one line:
You are the face, the taste, and the strategist behind how India’s nursing aspirants experience NPrep.
About us:
NPrep helps 150,000+ nursing students across India crack government exams — NORCET, AIIMS, RRB, ESIC and more. Most come from tier-2 and tier-3 towns. They’re ambitious, anxious, and badly under-served by generic edtech. We speak to them like a senior who’s already been through it, warm, direct, in their language.
Why this role is unusual:
Most companies split this across three people, an on-camera creator, a creative director, and a social media manager. We want one person who can hold all three, because the brand only feels coherent when the person shaping the ideas is also the one delivering them and setting the bar for the team that produces them.
You will:
- Be the face. Show up on camera as a recognisable, trusted voice of NPrep — the person a nervous aspirant feels is on their side.
- Lead the creative. Direct our editors, writers, and designers. Own the quality bar, the cadence, and the taste of everything we publish.
- Own the strategy. Run Instagram (where we reach and convert students) and LinkedIn (where we build NPrep’s reputation, attract talent, and shape how the industry sees us).
What you’ll own Brand & voice
- Guard and evolve NPrep’s voice — warm, mentor-like, Hinglish, never loud or gimmicky.
- Be a consistent on-camera presence students recognise and trust.
- Keep the visual language clean and editorial, never cluttered.
Creative production
- Lead a team of editors, content writers, and graphic designers.
- Turn strategy into clear briefs; hold a high bar on every cut, caption, and creative.
- Keep the machine running, a reliable publishing cadence across formats without letting quality slip.
Social strategy
- Instagram:
grow reach among nursing aspirants and turn that attention into app installs.
- LinkedIn: build NPrep’s brand as the reliable player in nursing education, for talent, partners, and the wider ecosystem.
- Decide what to make, why, and how you’ll know it worked.
Who you are
- You understand people before you make content for them. You’re genuinely curious about who our students are — not just what performs.
- You have taste. You can tell the difference between content that’s loud and content that lands, and you can explain why.
- You’re comfortable on camera — or ready to become so — and you sound like a real person, not a script.
- You can lead creatives: brief them well, give sharp feedback, and raise their bar without doing their job for them.
- You think in strategy but can execute. You’re as at home with a content calendar as with a rough cut.
What we’re really looking for Two things matter more than your CV:
1. User empathy / research instinct. Can you get inside the head of a 22-year-old nursing aspirant in a tier-3 town? Do you go to the source — talk to students, read the comments, sit with the data — before you assume?
2. Creative intelligence. Not “can you make a reel,” but: do you know why one idea will work and another won’t? Can you turn an insight about a student into something they’ll actually feel?
Nice to have
- Experience creating for or marketing to Bharat / tier-2-3 audiences.
- A background in healthcare, nursing, or education (good for credibility, not required).
- A body of on-camera or creative work you’re proud of.
How to apply Send us [portfolio / showreel / links / short note on why this role]. Shortlisted candidates get a short working assignment — designed to show us how you think, not to test how many hours you’ll burn. We read every submission.
