Our partner company, Prad4x4 is looking for a CAD designer.

Role Description The Computer Aided Design (CAD) Designer will work on a contract basis in a remote setting, collaborating closely with engineering and product teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating detailed 2D and 3D CAD models, preparing technical and construction drawings for components and assemblies, and updating designs based on feedback and testing results. The role involves translating design concepts into manufacturable parts, ensuring dimensional accuracy, and maintaining organized design documentation.

The CAD Designer will also participate in design reviews, support prototype development with clear drawings and specifications, and align designs with safety, performance, and regulatory requirements relevant to electric two-wheeler vehicles.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills for 2D and 3D modeling and drafting.




- Candidates should possess skills in Technical Drawing and Drawing to accurately represent components and assemblies.
- Candidates should possess skills in Construction Drawings to produce clear, build-ready documentation for manufacturing and prototyping.
- Candidates should possess Design Engineering skills to integrate mechanical design principles, materials considerations, and safety requirements.
- Proficiency in industry-standard CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, or similar) and version control of design files.
- Experience in automotive or mobility-related product design, particularly for electric vehicles or two-wheelers, is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to interpret engineering requirements, and capability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Industrial Design, or a closely related field is preferred.
