Role Description The Commodities Advisor role is a full time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The advisor will monitor commodity markets, analyze price trends, and provide timely recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing market reports, supporting demand planning decisions, and coordinating with procurement and supply chain teams to optimize buying strategies.

The role also involves offering consulting support on risk management, developing hedging strategies, and aligning commodity decisions with business objectives.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Demand Planning and Analytical Skills to interpret market data and forecast commodity requirements.
- Candidates should possess Consulting experience to advise internal teams and clients on commodity strategies and risk mitigation.
- Candidates should possess Supply Chain Management and Procurement skills to support sourcing decisions, vendor interactions, and cost optimization.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in financial and commodity market analysis tools, including spreadsheets and relevant software platforms.
- Candidates should possess excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex market insights clearly.
- Relevant experience in commodities, finance, or supply chain roles, preferably in a corporate or financial services environment.
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting, maintain attention to detail, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
