JD (same for all 3):
We are looking for a Senior Network & Kubernetes Migration Specialist (6–9 years experience) to lead and execute large-scale AWS network and container platform migration initiatives. This role requires deep expertise in AWS networking, enterprise hybrid connectivity, and strong hands-on experience with Amazon EKS from both infrastructure and application perspectives.
1. AWS Network Architecture & Migration Lead end-to-end migration of on-premises and hybrid network environments to AWS.
Design complex AWS networking architectures including multi-account VPC strategy, subnet segmentation, routing, NAT, IGW, and load balancing.
Architect and implement AWS Transit Gateway (hub-and-spoke, inter-region, multi-account connectivity).
Design hybrid connectivity using AWS Direct Connect, Site-to-Site VPN, and BGP routing.
Perform network segmentation aligned with zero-trust principles.
Lead migration risk assessment, rollback planning, and phased cutover strategies.
Optimize network cost, latency, and high availability post migration.
2. Security & Governance Define and enforce enterprise-grade security policies using Security Groups, NACLs, AWS Network Firewall, and third-party firewalls.
Implement inspection VPC and centralized egress architectures.
Collaborate with security teams on compliance and regulatory requirements.
Implement guardrails using SCPs and IAM boundaries.
3. Amazon EKS – Infrastructure Perspective Design and operate production-grade Amazon EKS clusters.
Architect multi-cluster and multi-environment EKS strategies.
Design cluster networking (CNI, IP management, pod density planning).
Optimize VPC CNI,
prefix delegation, and subnet sizing.
Implement cluster autoscaling using Karpenter and Cluster Autoscaler.
Manage node lifecycle, taints/tolerations, and capacity planning.
Implement IRSA (IAM Roles for Service Accounts).
Upgrade and patch Kubernetes clusters with minimal downtime.
4. Amazon EKS – Application Perspective Support application teams in migrating workloads to Kubernetes.
Design ingress strategies (ALB / NGINX Ingress).
Optimize application networking (Services, Network Policies, DNS).
Troubleshoot pod-to-pod and cross-cluster communication issues.
Implement scalability and resilience patterns (HPA, PDB, readiness/liveness probes).
5. Platform Engineering & Automation Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform (modular approach).
Implement GitOps workflows using Argo CD.
Build CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
Define policy-as-code using Kyverno.
Develop automation scripts using Python or Go.
Required Skills & Qualifications 6–9 years of experience in AWS infrastructure, networking, and cloud migrations.
Strong expertise in AWS VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, and VPN.
Deep understanding of enterprise networking concepts (BGP, routing, firewalls, segmentation).
Robust production experience with Amazon EKS (cluster design, scaling, networking optimization).
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes networking internals.
Strong Terraform expertise (module design, remote state management).
Experience implementing GitOps and CI/CD pipelines.
Scripting experience with Python or Go.
Strong troubleshooting and stakeholder communication skills
