We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Diet Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide individualized dietary guidance to patients, support therapeutic nutrition plans, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance patient care and recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed nutritional assessments, including medical history, lifestyle, and dietary habits
- Develop customized diet plans aligned with clinical conditions and treatment goals
- Counsel patients on nutrition, behavior modification, and healthy lifestyle practices
- Monitor patient progress and adjust meal plans as necessary
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals for integrated care
- Educate patients on disease-specific diets as well as weight management.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with clinical standards
- Stay updated with the latest nutrition research and clinical practices
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field
- 6 to 1 year of experience in a clinical or healthcare setting preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathy and ability to build trust with patients
- Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting

- Ability to handle diverse patient populations
- Strong counselling and motivational skills
