Tell A Tale is looking for a City Intern in Bangalore
This is a 1-month, paid, part-time internship for someone who knows their city well, enjoys working with people, and is curious about hospitality, local experiences, and community spaces.
You'll be joining Tell A Tale at an early stage of building and expanding our work in Bangalore, so the role will evolve as the project develops. It's a good prospect for someone who enjoys figuring things out, exploring the city, and being involved in building something from the ground up.
What you'll help with:
- Property sourcing and local market exploration
- Local coordination and communication
- Guest experience and hospitality support
- Basic social media and online research
- Exploring neighbourhoods, local networks and potential partnerships
- On-ground tasks as the project develops
What we're looking for:
- Comfortable moving around Bangalore independently
- Fluent or conversational in a local language
- Comfortable with basic technology and social media
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Proactive,
curious and comfortable working independently
- A personal vehicle and driving licence are a strong advantage, but not compulsory
Internship details:
- Duration: 1 month
- Time commitment: Approximately 2–3 hours/day
- Stipend: ₹6,000/month
- Petrol/travel support: ₹1,000/month
- Performance-based commission: Additional commission for suitable properties you help source that are ultimately finalized by Tell A Tale
- Internship certificate on successful completion
- LOR may be provided based on contribution and involvement
- Potential for future hosting, city operations, or partnership opportunities as Tell A Tale expands
This is a hybrid role, combining field work and local travel with online research, communication, social media and partnership-related work.
