Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead the company's overall finance strategy, financial planning and performance management in alignment with long-term business objectives.
- Drive the company's IPO roadmap and IPO readiness, including financial restructuring, due diligence, DRHP preparation support, corporate governance, compliance and investor relations.
- Lead fundraising initiatives through Private Equity (PE), institutional investors, strategic investors, banks and other funding channels.
- Work closely with merchant bankers, investment bankers, legal advisors, auditors and other IPO/capital-market intermediaries.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, capital budgeting and long-term financial planning across the organization.
- Establish and strengthen internal financial controls, risk-management systems, SOPs and governance frameworks.
- Oversee financial reporting, MIS, profitability analysis and management reporting, providing actionable insights to the MD and senior leadership.
- Manage treasury, working capital, cash flow, banking relationships and fund utilization to ensure optimum financial efficiency.
- Oversee taxation, statutory compliance, internal & external audits and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with applicable SEBI regulations, Companies Act, accounting standards and corporate governance requirements.
- Lead financial modelling, business valuation, due diligence and investment analysis for fundraising, expansion and strategic projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, investors, PE funds and regulatory authorities.
- Evaluate business expansion and investment opportunities through ROI, IRR, NPV and financial feasibility analysis.
- Partner closely with the MD, Board and leadership team in strategic decision-making,
business growth and expansion.
- Build, mentor and lead a high-performing Finance & Accounts team.
Job Requirements
- CA (Chartered Accountant) / ICWA-CMA / MBA Finance from a reputed institution. CA will be highly preferred.
- 12–18 years of overall experience in Finance & Accounts, preferably with at least 5–7 years in a senior finance leadership role.
- Strong hands-on exposure to IPO processes, IPO readiness, SEBI regulations, capital markets and corporate governance.
- Proven experience in fundraising, corporate finance, PE/investor relations, debt financing and financial negotiations.
- Strong expertise in financial modelling, valuation, budgeting, forecasting, MIS and strategic financial planning.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, statutory compliance, audit and internal financial controls.
- Experience working with merchant bankers, investment bankers, auditors, legal advisors, investors and financial institutions will be highly preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing, export, seafood, food processing or FMCG industries will be an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of working-capital management, treasury, cash-flow optimization and cost control.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, negotiation, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, financial reporting tools and advanced MS Excel.
- Additional skilled qualifications such as CFA, CPA or FRM will be an advantage.
