What a Forward Deployed Engineer does here :

The Forward Deployed Engineer is the person who makes that happen. You sit between the client and our product team. You go deep into the client's systems, design the integration, write the code that connects the two sides, and stay with the account until it is live and stable. This is not a support role and it is not a pre-sales role. You write real code, and you own real outcomes on real accounts.

What you will do :

1. Build integrations :

- Design and build integrations between the Chat360 platform and client systems - CRMs, lead management systems, dealer management systems, ticketing tools, core banking platforms, ERPs, and in-house applications.
- Write and consume REST APIs and webhooks. Handle authentication, retries, rate limits, and failure modes properly.
- Build custom flows, connectors, and middleware where the standard product does not cover a client's need.

2. Own the deployment :

- Run technical discovery with client engineering teams. Ask the questions that surface the hard problems early.
- Produce integration architecture documents, API contracts, and field-level mapping specs.
- Configure and launch bots across WhatsApp, RCS, SMS, web, email, and voice channels.

3. Close the loop with product :

- Turn recurring client requests into clear product requirements for the core engineering team.




- Push reusable patterns back into the platform instead of building the same thing twice.
- Document what you build so the next person can support it.

What we are looking for :

1. Must have :

- Go-getter attitude.
- Clear written and spoken English. You will be writing architecture documents and sitting in rooms with client CTOs and vendor teams.
- 2-5 years building and shipping software in a backend or full-stack role.
- Strong Python. Django experience is a big plus.
- Solid grasp of REST APIs, webhooks, JSON, OAuth/JWT, and HTTP debugging.
- You should be comfortable living in Postman and reading raw request logs.
- SQL and comfort working directly with a relational database (PostgreSQL or MySQL).
- Some frontend ability - enough JavaScript/React to build or adjust a UI when a deployment needs one.
- Git, and basic comfort on a Linux server.

2. Nice to have :

- Experience with LLM applications - prompt design, RAG pipelines, vector databases (Qdrant, Pinecone), Azure OpenAI or similar.
- Voice or telephony exposure - SIP, WebRTC, media streaming, IVR, or cloud calling platforms.
- Experience integrating with enterprise systems such as Salesforce, Zoho, LeadSquared, SAP, or Dynamics.
- Cloud experience on Azure, AWS, or GCP, and familiarity with Docker.

How you work :

- You are comfortable with ambiguity. Enterprise requirements arrive incomplete and change midway. That does not rattle you.
- You are client-facing without being a pushover. You can say "that will not work, here is what will" to a senior client stakeholder and keep the relationship intact.
- You are a strong debugger. When something breaks in production, you narrow it down methodically instead of guessing.
- You finish things. An integration that is 90% done is 0% done.
- You write things down.
