About the Opportunity

Orbit Global HR Consultants LLP, a leading CEO hiring agency in India, is hiring an experienced Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for a growing Food Manufacturing & FMCG business in Rajkot, Gujarat.

The organization is looking for a strategic and commercially driven business leader who can take complete ownership of business strategy, P&L;, manufacturing operations, sales, marketing, brand building, exports, supply chain and organizational growth.

The CEO will play a critical role in scaling the business, strengthening the leadership team and expanding the company's presence across Indian and international markets.

CEO – Role Objective

The Chief Executive Officer will be responsible for leading the overall business strategy, operational excellence and sustainable growth of the organization.

The role requires a proven leader capable of managing P&L;, manufacturing, sales, distribution, brand development, exports, new product development and high-performance teams.

The successful candidate will be expected to take the business to its next level of growth across domestic and export markets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership & Business Growth

- Define and execute the company's vision, mission and long-term business strategy.
- Drive revenue growth, profitability and market-share expansion.
- Identify new business opportunities, product categories and market segments.
- Develop strategies for business expansion across India and international markets.
- Evaluate new business verticals and growth opportunities.
- Lead strategic partnerships, M&A; initiatives and investor relationships where applicable.
- Establish clear business objectives and measurable performance indicators.

2. Operations & Food Manufacturing Excellence

- Provide strategic leadership across manufacturing and business operations.
- Oversee Production, Supply Chain, Quality, Procurement and New Product Development.
- Improve manufacturing productivity, efficiency and cost effectiveness.
- Drive yield improvement, cost control and operational excellence.




- Lead automation and manufacturing capacity expansion initiatives.
- Promote Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with applicable food-industry standards and regulations, including FSSAI, ISO and HACCP requirements.
- Strengthen systems and processes to support scalable business growth.

3. Sales, Marketing & Brand Development

- Develop and lead the domestic and international sales strategy.
- Expand distribution networks across India and export markets.
- Strengthen the company's presence across Retail, HORECA and Institutional channels.
- Develop and execute brand-building strategies.
- Identify opportunities for new products, categories and market segments.
- Lead product innovation and New Product Development (NPD) initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with key customers, distributors, channel partners and strategic accounts.

4. P&L;, Financial Management & Governance

- Take complete ownership of the company's Profit & Loss (P&L;).
- Drive revenue, EBITDA and profitability improvement.
- Lead annual budgeting and financial planning.
- Monitor operating costs and improve working-capital efficiency.
- Ensure effective fund and cash-flow management.
- Work closely with the Finance function on financial controls and business performance.
- Ensure compliance with applicable statutory, legal, tax and regulatory requirements.
- Present regular MIS, business performance reports and strategic reviews to the Board.

5. Leadership, People & Organizational Development

- Build, mentor and lead a strong CXO and senior management team.
- Work closely with Sales, Operations, Finance, HR, Quality and NPD leadership.
- Establish a high-performance culture across the organization.
- Develop leadership capability and succession planning.
- Introduce performance management systems and measurable KPIs.
- Build a strong culture of accountability, innovation and execution.
- Represent the organization at industry forums, customer meetings, government interactions and other strategic platforms.

Required Experience

The ideal candidate should have:




- 15+ years of overall professional experience.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as CEO, COO, Business Head or equivalent senior leadership position.
- Solid experience in Food Manufacturing, FMCG or related manufacturing businesses.
- Proven experience in leading business growth and organizational transformation.
- Demonstrated experience in P&L; management, sales, manufacturing operations and team leadership.
- Experience scaling a business from approximately ₹100 Crore to ₹500 Crore+ will be strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of domestic and international food markets.
- Experience with FSSAI, food quality systems, exports, retail and distribution.
- Strong commercial and strategic orientation.

Educational Qualifications

Preferred

- MBA / PGDM in:
- Operations
- Marketing
- Business Management

Additional Preference

- B.E. / B.Tech candidates will be preferred.
